Our projects
Helmut Raith's many years of experience have given him expertise not only in taxidermy, but also in design and creation, starting with dioramas, museum landscapes, but also balls, exhibitions and numerous other projects that have become a success over the years with Mr. Raith's involvement. Here we would like to give you just a few of the examples in which we have been involved.
One With Nature 2021
From September 25 to October 14, 2021, the International Hunting Exhibition will be held in Hungary. The exhibition is dedicated to nature, sustainability, hunting in all its forms and finally the World Championship of Taxidermists will be held during the event.
Since the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management is not represented at the exhibition, we try together with H. Weidinger to fill this gap and represent the interests of tourism, forestry, environment and hunting of Austria as well as possible.
A visit to our booth is worthwhile, because there is a lot to see, as we build dioramas with 5 continents on an area of more than 600 m2, where the preparations are built directly into the installations. You can find a small impression of the construction work below.
Our booth "Impressions of hunting, H. Raith - H. Weidinger (taxidermist- artist)" can be found with the number 107 in hall A, pavilion A.
We are looking forward to numerous visitors!
Even the journey to Budapest was a logistical challenge, as numerous small - and above all large - specimens have to be transported to the Hungarian capital - without damage.
More information on the exhibition One With Nature 2021 can be found here.
Grünes Kreuz Ball
For many years we decorated the "Wolfsschlucht", i.e. the Heuriger at the Opera Ball in the basement of the Vienna State Opera.
Orchid exhibition at Stift Klosterneuburg
Über viele Jahre hinweg haben wir die "Wolfsschlucht", also den Heurigen beim Opernball im Keller der Wiener Staatsoper dekoriert.
Hunting museum Lettl at Stein an der Traun
In the private hunting museum in Bavaria of Werner Lettl Helmuth Raith has significantly contributed. A large part of the taxidermy and dioramas were designed by him. The museum offers on 2.400 m2 a round trip around the globe on all four inhabited continents and also Antarctica. The huge diorama hall is the heart of the museum.
